The voice counting feature relies on the client-side Web Speech API provided by your web browser and operating system (such as Google Chrome on Android or Apple Safari on iOS).

• Environmental Variations: Ambient background noise (fans, air conditioning, traffic, or family conversations), regional accents, speaking speed, and hardware microphone quality may occasionally cause words to be missed or misrecognized.
• No Absolute Counting Guarantee: While our phonetic engine is optimized for high accuracy, voice recognition cannot guarantee 100% mechanical perfection under all acoustic conditions. When absolute precision is required in noisy spaces, practitioners are encouraged to use the built-in Touch Counter or Auto Mode.

We believe sacred prayer must remain completely private. Our platform enforces an uncompromising zero-audio-recording standard:

• Local Ephemeral Processing: Microphone audio streams are processed in temporary volatile memory to match phonetic syllables. Zero audio files (.wav, .mp3) are recorded, saved to disk, or transmitted to cloud servers.
• Local Device Storage: All chanting counts, streak milestones, and custom mantra settings are stored solely in your personal browser storage (IndexedDB / localStorage). We operate zero central user tracking databases.
